The World Vegan Day is an event dedicated to promoting veganism worldwide and was established in 1994 by Louise Wallis, then president of the British Vegan Society.
The main objective of this day is to raise awareness of the benefits of veganism for animals, the environment and human health. Veganism is promoted as an ethical and sustainable lifestyle for those who wish to reduce their environmental impact and contribute to animal protection. In addition, World Vegan Day aims to provide information about veganism and to answer questions and doubts that many people may have about choosing a vegan diet.
