On June 21 each year, the music festival is celebrated to mark the summer solstice.

The origin of this day occurred in 1982 by the French Ministry of Culture creating a free festival by encouraging anyone to play their instruments in the streets. Three years later, on the occasion of the European Year of Music, the festival became a social phenomenon that spread beyond French borders. In 1997, on the other hand, the "European Music Festival Charter" was established in Budapest to promote awareness of the artistic realities of the various member countries.

It is no coincidence, in fact, that music is defined as "the universal language," has the ability to overcome any barrier and convey emotions and feelings, as well as having various benefits: it helps reduce anxiety because the vibrations facilitate the production of oxytocin (also known as the love hormone), promotes learning and fights fatigue. For those who play an instrument, the benefits are many: you learn to listen to others, concentrate and handle multiple stimuli and difficulties at once, and develop remarkable mental elasticity.

In addition to the health benefits, listening to music or playing an instrument fosters social interactions and unites by facilitating integration processes and consequently breaking down barriers that can occur in the face of situations of diversity and difficulty to dialogue.

We wish anyone who is a music geek or plays any instrument to cultivate this passion and share it as much as possible.
